Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Surface Prep

Sand the floor to a smooth finish — we recommend sanding up to 120 grit for best results. The cleaner and finer the surface, the better the oil will absorb and perform.

2. Mixing Components

Combine Part A and Part B from the Rubio 2C Oil kit, following the instructions provided. Mix thoroughly for a consistent finish.

3. Application

Spread the oil thinly and evenly using a flat trowel or plastic spreader. Work in small sections.

4. Buffing

Immediately buff the oil into the surface using a white pad and a floor buffer. For small areas, you can do this by hand.

5. Final Wipe

After a short dwell time (typically a few minutes), remove any excess oil using a clean cotton cloth or white pad.

6. Curing Time

Allow the floor to cure as per Rubio’s guidance — usually safe for light use after 24–36 hours.
